Blue Chevrolets

Blaze on the sidewalk weeds in water
Photo-avalons of birds on giraffe noons
And twin-kissed flight the glance your rebel fire song
In blue in love with you on futons of the grass
The roots emitting squirrels it was too beautiful said the bride
Diagonal! Graham crackers or hydrants
Like night stones in glass boats
As a dutch heart slips the body new beasts pacing the green
Black lakes exceeding the boulevards
Face brush sun glass silver
When the sun burned through my glasses banana paper
The legs of the horses and the feet of the riders
As the flood gets under the carpet tea comes from the spout
For prayer the camera the natural hero of cold
The boots in the hall a flock on a safari the flight of leaves

On new green trees the violin's bosom like Christmas lights
In a broken mirror a doorman in the doorway
The nonsense disaster is official the meeting lets out
The earth is mine! and neat are its furnitures
I am with you in the varsity tipped like a paint can in a corner
Casa Hispanica framed by Cadillacs we lectured in the rotunda
Tonight a picnic at the fountain rats pass near
You sprawl like a cape in a lens the bubbles under the map
Cards for the dance the free papers morphine shields
Glass leopards of sun fire pending damask on pamphlets
The wolf in the window keens roses to heel dark timepieces
Of rushing real desert and ocean beholding pink trees
Oh teenage people riding white baptism the rays of tulips
Divide the coast light and forthright and reflecting
Violets in silhouette traces of west light barb
Let's make green crowns of strawberries
As color came to Arizona in a big yellow church
An animal sneezing rolls on its back as the triumphal blares
And spring brings bare arms and covered eyes it is not ugly to eat
To be eating you are less than a comet the fitted sheet pulled forward
As a pole-vaulter gets over in a blue country on a blue map
The hair is pulled back out of the way the clothes are pulled off
The storm is the image the ocean of air presents the curtain
Pulled up a woman in a teddy leaning toward a white bird
In the window putting her teeth around its head then letting it go
The baby turns to one side hungry the dogs race in the run
The hand hits the key chain and the walk goes on
Thin maple like moths against a wall
The iris like a bag of ice dropped factories open to sunlight
On the paper of the sea draw a shield in blue ink for me
